A French national, Laurent has been promoting sustainable natural resources management to alleviate poverty in developing countries. Adhering thus to the values of the Clean Development Mechanism of the Kyoto Protocol, he has been a passionate advocate of carbon finance since the early 2000’s.

Laurent has spent almost twenty years with the state-owned agency Office National des Forêts (ONF) as a forest engineer in the northeast of France, and as the CEO of ONF International (ONFI), the international private branch of ONF. Laurent has also supported the creation of ONF Energie, a branch producing sustainable biomass for steam and power generation in rural territories.
A former senior World Bank specialist in Forestry & Carbon Finance for eight years, Laurent has supported forest countries to get access to carbon finance from the BioCarbon Fund (BioCF) and the Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF), and worked out and implemented numerous development projects in Africa.
In the private sector, Laurent has been part of pioneer teams, namely: (i) Orbeo, the former emission trading joint venture between Société Générale and Rhodia, as Director of Origination; (ii) Solvay Biomass Energy, a US-based company, as Biomass Sourcing & Marketing Europe Director; and (iii) TotalEnergies Nature-Based Solutions, as Senior Project Development Manager

He has 10 years of experience in supporting international high-impact organizations in fast-paced environments.
He started his career at Pact & Partners International and digitalized the operations of the executive search agency while he also adapted their processes to new regulations and standards (GDPR, ITIL…). He also used his sensibility to environmental protection and ensured the agency transitioned to low-carbon practices. In parallel, he also developed his expertise as a senior consultant in recruitment and helped customers around the globe build and develop multicultural teams while strengthening his HR knowledge and skills across three continents.
Yoni then joined the global think-tank 2° Investing Initiative managing administrative, financial, legal, HR and IT issues and projects. He supported the sustainable finance NGO by streamlining admin processes and structuring IT management and used his expertise in recruitment to strengthen the rapidly growing team. He was also central in grant management operations with major funders of the organization (ADEME, LIFE, H2020, EUKI…).
Yoni joined SWC to support concrete actions in environmental protection and population empowerment internationally.
Yoni holds a Master in American Studies from the Paris Sorbonne University as well as a BSc. in Finance and Management from the CNAM-INTEC.
Lilas is an agronomist engineer, specializing in project management with a strong environmental and social focus. As a Junior NBS Project Manager, Lilas is coordinating the actions of the DIBETOU REDD+ initiative in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and those of the FAGUS afforestation/reforestation project in France.

Lilas is an agronomist engineer, specializing in project management with a strong environmental and social focus. Graduating in Environmental Management of Forests and Tropical Ecosystems, Lilas has gained solid international experience. She worked in South America and Central Africa, where she contributed to the development of various projects, particularly in agroforestry, afforestation, and sustainable agriculture. Her expertise also includes the assessment and management of biodiversity in tropical ecosystems. She worked on the development of an agrarian diagnosis of the Chilean fruit industry within the Eurochile Foundation and participated in the study of the impact of agroforestry plantations on biodiversity in the Republic of the Congo for the FRM research department.

Sabrina then joined the world of corporate and personal insurance brokerage within the French Verlingue group.
In 2016, Sabrina moved with her husband and their children to the Democratic Republic of Congo. There, she returned to the Accor group, as the Sales and Marketing Director of the Pullman hotels in Kinshasa and Lubumbashi. This experience strengthened her sense of curiosity, adaptation, as well as her managerial and endurance qualities in a new social, cultural and economic context.
More recently with the Congolese group Sodeico, as Business Development Manager, Sabrina, held for nearly 7 years numerous responsibilities which particularly strengthened her sense of resilience, agility and creativity.
